Wlan/Wifi Problem with Cubieboard 3/ Cubietruck and Rune 0.3

Hello this is Daniel from germany.

I have he following problem:
I use a Cubietruck with build in Wifi and Rune 0.3.
Connection with ethernet is just fine and Rune boots very fast.
But it wont connect to wifi with disconnected LAN.
With connected LAN it finds my network without problems. and when i connect the wifi, it works.
But if i restart or shutdown the cubietruck und disconnect the ethernet - it wont connect to wifi again.
Tried with rune on SD Card, now in the NAND, but same problem.

Any suggestions how to solve the problem?

That was also my problem! You can forget about my debug post you requested a while a go.

There is also a sound improvement. Losing the Ethernet cable is like removing some jitter?!

Yes it had. It is a cat6 cable.

Try with a normal patch cable with plastic plugs, if you notice improvements then it was a ground loop issue.

Hi Jeff,

I also had ground loop problems.

I solved it by using UTP cable (unshielded twisted pair).

E. g. search for "CAT 6 UTP" on Amazon.
